Health Funding Named Top Global Health Story of 2013

PSI magazine names its Top 10 Global Health Moments of 2013. Funding for maternal and child health makes the short list.

The September 2013 announcement that  The World Bank, UNICEF, USAID and Norway committed a combined $1.15 billion over the next three years to advance progress toward MDGs 4 and 5 was named one of the top 10 moments in the year in global health by the editors of PSI Impact.  UN Special Envoy for Financing the Health MDGs and For Malaria, Ray Chambers, was interviewed by the magazine for its year-end issue.
