UN Special Envoy Applauds The Parker Foundation’s Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy

by Ray Chambers

As the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Health in Agenda 2030, I applaud the ambitions, goals, and unprecedented collaboration at the core of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, announced today by Sean Parker and the Parker Foundation. This Institute will not only work to rapidly advance breakthroughs in cancer treatment but is also deeply dedicated to ensuring that all people—worldwide—have access to innovative, effective, and affordable care.

The importance of the fight against cancer will only grow as we continue to successfully curb mortality rates from preventable diseases and increase life expectancy around the world. The Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy brings great hope to all of us committed to ensuring that people in every country and in every economic bracket have access to the very best care to win the fight against cancer.
